Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Ciencia Agora (cienciaagora.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free tutorials, project ideas and technique guides about paper crafts for adults, for general information and educational purposes. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every tutorial is free of errors.

Using the content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Ciencia Agora. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and follow the tutorials for personal and educational purposes;
  • make the projects for yourself or as gifts;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without permission. To ask for permission, use the Contact page.

Safety

Paper crafting involves tools and materials that can cause injury or damage if used carelessly. You are responsible for working safely and for deciding whether a project is suitable for you.

  • Craft knives and scissors. Cut on a cutting mat with a sharp blade, cut away from your body, keep your free hand clear of the blade’s path, and cover or retract blades when they are not in use.
  • Adhesives. Read the label, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and work in a ventilated space when the product calls for it. Spray adhesives and solvent-based glues need particular care.
  • Hot tools. Glue guns, heat tools and similar equipment can burn skin and scorch surfaces. Use a heat-resistant surface, never leave a hot tool unattended and let it cool before putting it away.
  • Paper and flame. Paper burns easily. Use battery-operated lights instead of candles in paper lanterns and luminaries, and keep paper projects away from open flames, stoves, heaters and hot light bulbs.
  • Small parts and sharp tools. The projects are written for adults. Keep blades, adhesives, small parts and hot tools out of the reach of children and pets.

Results may vary

Paper weight, grain, humidity, adhesives, tools and experience all affect how a project turns out. Difficulty levels and times are estimates, and the illustrations are drawn diagrams rather than photographs. Your finished piece may look different from what you expected, and a project may take more or less time than stated.
